Re: PATHETIC!!!!
Here's my observations from the game: 1. Schilz had a rough game. He's young and that definitely showed today. There were several plays with receivers open on the left side that he missed, but that will come with experience. I don't know if he was at 100% today, but he seemed really timid to run the...

Re: Miami Game TV
If the Miami game is not on TV, that sucks. I have parent-teaher conferences and I was going to try and pull the game off the internet and put it up on my SmartBoard....guess I'll just have to settle for the radio cast and game tracker. And the Akron game time sucks as well. I'm a teacher and it's g...

Re: BG vs. UT time?
An 11am start?!?! That means the band kids have to be there at 9 for their pre-game show, which means limited Black Friday shopping and little tailgate. I'd much prefer the 2pm....it's easier for all the families and more people to be there to watch.

I wish I could make it, but I have to coach Quiz Bowl that night...and school doesn't get out early enough to make it. I'll wear my orange and brown to school and hurry home to make it on time for the game!!

Re: Game Thread: Providence vs. Bowling Green
I thought last night's game was pretty good. It was a close game and would have only been 2-1 if we had not pulled Hammond in the last minute. I enjoyed it. Plus, I saw a lot of good hits...it seemed like we were delivering more hits than receiving. Hammond was a riot to watch as goalie!! Seriously....

Re: Home field troubles...
There were a lot of factors that went into the poor attendance. A poor record at home, less than ideal weather, an early game time, a game time that conflicts with the OSU game (that students could probably watch in the warmth of their own dorm or apartment), and other family weekend events being sc...

Re: My thoughts...
I thoguht the crowd was ridiculously quiet for the whole game. At the Troy game, the student section was loud and rocking the Doyt from the start of the game. For this game, half of the students didn't show up until 15 before the game started and I think they forgot to bring their voices. I thought ...

I still have mixed emotions. As a band alumni with three years of field house shows, it was great to be back there yesterday to hear the band and know that everyone in there was there to support the band. The attendance at these shows never ceases to amaze me because it shows that the FMB has a grea...

Freak, I absolutely agree with you. That was ugly. I saw little emotion on the sidelines. I saw much more emotion from the fans, which after the first two touchdowns decreased immensely. Instead of focusing on the negatives, I saw several positives (I'm the eternal optimist). Sitting next to Mrs. Fr...
