RE: McCoy The BG men's team had this situation a few years ago and it played out exactly the same. John Floyd got a DUI, had his scholarship taken away but was allowed to stay on the roster. He decided to leave. It's probably university protocol to have waited until McCoy's hearing/trial and make de...

In 2006 the team had a better record, higher RPI, better SOS, won the conference tournament, was ranked in both major polls, and got jobbed with a #12 seed. I wouldn't count on an at-large this year. Not that it really matters - - but in 2007, we had #10 seed, NOT a #12......... Actually, 2006 - 12...

I'm sure they fudged the numbers, although 4,000 is pretty sweet too. I was trying to respond to the statement "BG just literally dominates the MAC as far as fan support goes" and bring some realism, but I didn't know how to quote it right.

Not to be a jerk but Toledo had a crowd of 5,701 yesterday, their support is just as good as ours.

The BG news article said her blood alcohol level was .178. The legal limit is .08. I have confidence Coach Miller will handle the situation well, but to get that tanked in-season, the night of a game no less, shows some serious issues.

Is anyone else seriously disturbed that Niki would drink that much alcohol after a game, on a school night, and get behind the wheel endangering the whole town?
I know I am.

Maybe someone else will get a clue and actually sign her! Then the coaching staff might regret giving scholarships to two transfers (three actually) and not her.

I'd say it's actually pretty common for a new head coach to contact his committed recruits right away, within a day or two of getting hired. There may be others, who didn't have a reporter ask them, feeling the same way as Nicely does. I for one hope Coach Clawson has already been on the phone to th...
