General guidelines for the Message Board Investigation (MBI): "I think the program is in big........." and of course "... it sucks...he sucks...you suck.." -not useful statements leading to a solid conclusion "I spoke with Coach 'XXXXX' who stated...." or "He state...

So, Brandon continues to trash Sean. I read the "sports article" once again. And I still don't see this as being a fact. I can see what some want to read, but I don't see anything more than creative writing. I'm pretty sure this writer did not call Brandon in April and receive a specific ...

When I re-read the article about BG, and what sentence had quotations, I'm not sure what Brandon said about last years kickers was recent. He stated our kicking game was much improved. I would expect that and it was something to note after the Spring game for many reasons. Anything else in that para...

Don't forget the self employment tax, higher insurance cost, and the constant request for donations. Unless they are considered "employed by" and all that is covered.

To be honest, RF -- even though you said very explicitly that you think Toledo should be punished harshly should the facts come out like most of us think they will, the general tone of a lot of your posts sound like "Yeah, Toledo's in trouble, but look how many other people are doing it too!&q...

I don't understand why it is so hard for you to understand what I am saying. Forget the whole Toledo thing right now. What I am saying is that the NCAA does things by the book and it is against NCAA rules whether you did what Scooter is alleged to have done or whether you took a wedding gift from yo...

You know? This used to be a fun site to visit. Now it is a perpetual cylce of pissed off at the world or "I am all knowing" posts. No one is allowed to be happy and post excitement without some a-hole tearing it apart. I don't know why I still come back.[/quote] That sums up my thoughts pr...

I don't think you understood my point. I was making the point that the NCAA goes by the book for everything. They have told Ian Johnson he CANNOT receive gifts at his wedding. If he can't receive gifts at his wedding, then the NCAA would be anal enough to consider a $20 bet on a professional footbal...

Even my toledo friends (cough) I was standing next to made some positive comments about some of the passes and especially Corey's receptions. I have used that as my base to build upon during the off season. With a number of players healthy there is no question we will take a step forward this year.

On paper they don't see a difference but in a practical sense they do. One they go after and he gets prosecuted, the other they frown upon until it gets out of control. Who's the "they" you are talking about? The NCAA doesn't prosecute people. We are talking about the NCAA and believe me ...

According to what RWT posted, the NCAA doesn't see any difference.......wagering on sports at all will lose your eligibility. It was 35% of the student-athletes surveyed by the NCAA admitted to betting on sports. I am sure not all that do admitted to it either since they know it is against NCAA rul...

To take this further, all student-athletes at UT have to sign a form stating that they will not bet on sports, so anyone doing so is an violation of the code of conduct and could be expelled from the University as well. How many new recruits will UT lose after hearing this news? 35% of what, ...

1) how come when I order merchandise on line the actual product I receive doesn't always have the correct shade of brown/orange. The new russell sideline polo is actualy white and burnt orange (even says burnt on the tag). I went to BG not Texas. Myabe we got a deal on Texas overruns. We should be ...

You could probably show up with steel toe boots and a hard hat and ask to take a few pictures and they'd probably let you. It's a safety issue. Most job sites shut down around 3:00pm.

A few things to consider before bashing a coach, program, and anything else inside the Doyt Beltway: What O'dro wants, feels, or is ok with. The role of senior Winovich fulfilling (?) a quasi TE-back position. Other Tight Ends development. Other receiver developments. The importance of the DE in tod...
