Just because there have not been articles written about Curt's on-campus interview at UC, does not mean it didn't happen. Because Curt has the "out clause" for Cincinnati, I am not sure they needed permission and if they did, they certainly were granted it. You can either believe me or no...

I havent researched this yet so I might be way off base, but I'm pretty sure they won't actually own the vehicles. That Mercedes dealership is probably giving them the Benz's to drive for a year or two on a lease deal. And come on....An Accord.....You would think those cheap bastards would atleast ...

Another quote that made me smile: Orr has coached his teams to be deliberate and defensive-minded. I love defense. Yeah sounds a lot like charlie coles and miami. Yeah what has he done? Oh only make multi-topurney appearances win the conference tourneys a couple times and make it to the sweet 16......

forgive me if this is rather naive sounding...but isn't all of this a moot point? I don't recall anyone else besides Michigan having been granted permission to speak to Miller and if that's the case, the UC interview claim is either completely fabricated, or some serious NCAA violations were committ...

I have a friend who lives in Jersey and is an avid Seton Hall booster. I asked him for the 411 on Orr. His response was.... "Orr is a good coach. He is not a big time program kind of guy. He is very low key and does not fit in with big time high school players. He did very well at Siena. He is ...

Sorry, I scrolled all the way down and didn't read the rest of the comments. UT is so ready to get back into the national picture that they were willing to pay whatever it took. I know that Sherri Coale got is getting around 600-700 at OU, and I'm sure that UT is going to pay Coach G more than that...

I think that this was a good decision for everyone. I saw Coach G at the final four, and I was going to introduce myself, but then thought twice. This was Sunday, and she still had on her Duke stuff. I didn't want to introduce myself as a junior college coach in Houston, just because I'm sure she w...

It's been officially named today. It's on their website. Yes, thank the Lord. :prayer: It appears we will have Miller for at least one more year. Hip Hip Horray!! :smt026 \:D/ :smt041 This hiring doesn't affect the probability of Miller being here next year at all. He was never even a candidate. me...

Re: Ali Mann to Pros?

I'm ecstatic that Ali has even a profile on a WNBA draft prospects page. I honestly don't expect her to get drafted but UDFA is a possibility I hope. the draft is over and she did not get selected.....as fully expected....but it's not a matter of possibly getting offers as a UDFA.....it's more a ma...

Stephanie Raymond.....

got picked in the SECOND round of the WNBA draft?????? She's going to get cut before she ever sees the 2nd week of camp. Ali FINALLY had a profile added to the WNBA draft prospect page.....but someone is going to miss the boat terribly by not picking her. She could be a fantastic pro....coming off t...

this is true. Also, he got a ton of heat from the alumni because of his laid back nature. Seems that alumni at BCS conference schools carry a bit too much weight. Alumni issues are what led Tubby to bail on Kentucky.

Until you get a commissioner of the MAC who cares more about the financial well-being of the members over making ESPN happy, you won't see a lot more income coming to the school. There's no reason Ball State shouldn't have made the women's tournament other than Chryst didn't lobby enough to get us ...

Re: 750k???

Come on , I highly doubt that. If there truly giving him that kind of dough then we Mac schools are truly pathetic now in basketball. I'd like to know where SIU is getting their money to pay their coach that. they get that dough from selling out their arena every time they play a game and from souv...
