Your judgment regarding the 40 yd time trial,Mr. Flipper, carries a lot of truth. However, and unfortunately, most of those 40 yd posted times are bold face lies, i.e., fabrications. When I see all of these recruits cominging in with 4.4, 4.5. 4.6 times listed I just have to laugh. When I see a pros...

Oh quit nit-pickin Mr. Jacobs! Quickness of hands, quickness of feet ---- all are important in football. Speed in general makes a huge difference, as does mass, strength, reaction-time, etc. It all plays a huge role in football. Wrestlers always make great football players --- particularly along the...

Thanks, Hammb, your response made sense and I totally agree with you. I'd have been more excited, however, if he had been a State Sprint champion. Motion on the BG team, whether on defense or offense, always seems like it's happening in a jar of molasses. The team is slow and it's probably their big...

I thought both teams were incredible --- the quickness, the speed was just overhelming, and supports my notion that speed kills. And I t hought t hat both QBs were sensational; I'd never be able to chose one over the other. -- In spite of all that, Oklahoma's mistakes took the game away from 'em. Wi...

Wow, this is a real shocker. Not since Matt Markey has anyone captured the true spirit, the flavor of BGSU athletics like Mark. I don't really understand any of this other than it's a union/seniority decision. To hell with seniority --- when you got talent, hold onto to. If Ryan goes, so will the Bl...

Why do you feel the need to degrade Oklahoma, VW Falcon?? they've got a great team and they're a winner --- they play to win and Stoops is an extraodinary coach and recruiter. The talent, the speed that team has is mind boggling. Were you upset when BG was r unning up the scores a few years ago, ave...

What does "alter ego" have to do with my observations, H2 Rocker? How come nobody can make a simple observation on this web without some critic --- with impaired analytical skills, trying to make some dumb issue out of it. I made a simple observation from FACTS, and drew a simple conclusio...

Buffalo has had a penchant over the last couple of years of pulling games out of the fire in the waning moments of a game. It's kind of like flipping a coin in the air ten times and having it show heads once. How often can this happen??? They're not the best team in the MAC. Having it to do over aga...

The Sagarin computer ratings have Savannah State ranked 292 out of 347 teams. With the kind of parity there is in basketball, that may not mean much, but still, it fringes on a "bottom feeder" status. I was hoping (and still am) that the basketball team could divorce itself from losses lik...

A former lineman made into an offensive coordinator made no sense to me back-when. I often had a difficult time understanding his play calling decisions, i.e., I always felt that his knowledge in this area was to often short changed by a near total lack of experience.

What do you mean, Strouse, the team was "Excellent this afternoon/evening?" They made the same dumb mistakes they've been making all year --- four (that's 4) turnovers and how many penalties??? They won inspite of their goofs because UT was totally inept, if not inert. UT had to be the wea...

YOU CAN'T EXPECT TO HAVE A PRODUCTIVE MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY PROGRAM WITHOUT A TRACK PROGRAM. ONE SPORT SIMPLY FEEDS/SUPPORTS THE OTHER. IF YOU'RE A DISTANCE RUNNER, IT'S A YEAR AROUND COMMITMENT. SO I COULDN'T IMAGINE GOING TO A SCHOOL WHERE YOU'RE COMPETITIVE SEASON IS SO SHORT. THEY DROPPED MEN'S TR...
