In response to the original question of "Where will the band go?"

I believe the answer should be "the band will go where no band has gone before!"

meaning that it will just get even better. :P

I wasn't trying to say that my parents were better than hers in any way. :?: I was just stating that not all season ticket-holders are limited to sit on the other side. Maybe you were misreading the intentions of my post?

About me I guess hehe

My name is Jessica Todd. I'm a 4th year Senior at BGSU majoring in Music Education. I play the oboe and English Horn in the BGSU Philharmonia and I used to play in the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Bands when I was able to fit it in my schedule. I marched 4 years in the FMB on the alto saxophone and p...

I'd like to point out that some die-hard season ticket holders DO hold tickets on the home side. (ie, my parents) They've been to every home football game for 4 years, and they've always had the same seats sitting where the band faces.

I have a pretty good mp3 of bg playing screamer. I have no clue what year it was since I acquired it from Adam Bishop about 4 years ago, but if anyone wants me to upload it to my website so you can download it, I will.

<cough> I would like to point out, and maybe it's just me thinking this? But honestly, being a person in an instrumental section in the FMB is way different then being in the Drumline in the FMB. The Drumline rehearses far differently than the other sections that I've observed. Your experiences in t...

Honestly, I think we should be sort of happy to have gotten what we got. I think that for having it completely paid for was awesome, and I couldn't have asked for more. Sure, ham and cheese sandwiches aren't exactly my fav., but I won't complain.

He's ran it out of his home ever since I've been at BG so I'm thinking it's been a long while. His name, I believe, is Mike Jones, and he does an excellent job. He fixes all kinds of instruments as he's fixed my oboe twice in the 4 years I've been here.

Yes, I am a bit biased with the quality of our shows as well, but I do have to say this: For what we had this year regarding time inbetween shows and the toughness of a show, I think we did ok. However, I do think last years "frontier" show cannot be topped with exactly how tough, how chal...

Well, I have to think that Council put on a good show after being put in and for being a freshman. Just think what would have happened if they put him in earlier? Also, it seemed like everytime the announcers on ESPN would say one of the Toledo's players and say how they've overcome such hard times ...

I didnt mind not playing either. I liked standing there, clapping my hands and cheering along with the songs. Besides, I'd rather do that then ruin my sax. (even if it doesnt cost all that much.. it's still an instrument). I think the entire experience was awesome. The only thing that irked me was c...

I'm sort of hoping that after our day is done when we have our free time that some people will be going out and doing some fun stuff in Mobile. Not that I want to party or do anything like that, but I just want to do some sightseeing.

I've flown in december before from Cleveland to KS. I know how it is like when it snows. (Chardon isn't the capital of the snowbelt in Ohio for nothing!) So, yes, I do know what I'm saying when I say I'd rather fly. There are a lot of reckless drivers out there. I'm more scared of 1.) an accident re...

A 20+ Band bus trip would be fun, I agree, but then again it would be in the wintertime, in the dead of December, and really close to xmas. (icy roads, snow storms, blah blah blah, blah blah blahity blah, you get my (snow)drift. haha!) I'd be scared, to be honest, if we drove. Anyways, I think plane...

I'll have to agree our rehearsal style blows. The idea that we can't even be a little critical of the peeps goofing off in sections is an idea that can afford to be scrapped. The people goofing off and wasting time need to have it, and it shouldn't be from a nice Dr. H going "oh you guys, pleas...
