Every college has turn-over and players leave every year, but mostly it's due to playing time, recruiting promises not being kept or academics. But several scholarship players anlong with Ellis will not return after winter break. I ask why walk away from a full college scholarship? Ellis has been qu...

Since when did the trasnferitis the men's basketball team has become contageous????? When Gregg Brandon lost his football team in the same fashion that Dakich lost his basketball team 4 years ago. Once you lose a team you never regain it. For whatever reason his team has lost faith in him, ...

I would suggest that you urge the players you're talking to to either take their concerns to the AD or a student representative, or to do their absolute best to get behind the staff and work their guts out in the offseason, or both. If they don't want to do it, then you should. Yep, I agree and I h...

Houston, we have a problem ! ! !

From what I understand Coach GB and the current staff will be back next year. The program did not go as anyone thought it would for 2006. The team performed very poorly in a very weak division against teams that were not competitive themselves. So what is the outlook for 2007? If we continue our pat...

Speaking of statistics, I am baffled how this can happen. We were ranked 55th in total offense in Div I-A. That is based on yards. So you would think gaining yards would equate to points. Not so with us. We were ranked 91st in scoring. A difference of 36 places. Only UCF (44 and 98)and La Tech (63 ...

2007 Outlook ???

This year was not a good year, if you noticed we played poorly overall and only managed to luckily beat a few teams that were worse than us. It's tuff but there needs to be an overhaul or a change in our approach to the game. Our team did not get better it got worse; the mistakes made in the first g...

This team quit during the Temple game and never showed back up the rest of the season. That Temple game was the nail in the coffin for us. We never jumped back and that falls all on coaching. No I disagree, the nail was the Central MI game. The overall level of competition in the MAC was down this ...

Posts like this always make me go hmmmm..... I'm here at BG and my credibility or motives should not be the question, Hmmmm.... Just look at the facts and the program for the last 2 years. Don't let my rantings determine your opinion, just look at the numbers and facts, they don't lie, at le...

Grass is OK if it can be covered and maintained with the correct drainage. OSU has replaced their sod twice this season. A few $100,000 more and they could have installed Grass turf. Most staduium managers and ground keepers agree its less maintenance cost than grass and less likely to be damaged du...

There are very few HS Seniors ready to contribute as true freshmen against ANY D1 competition, and they're at USC, OSU, etc. Are you a patron of mediocre performance? Have you heard of Tim Tebow (Fla), Mike Mustain (Ark), Chris Wells, Juice Williams (Ill.) or Damian Williams (Ark). These are just a...

Let the coaches recruit. What a coach say to recruit a kid to a program that lost to Temple? Come to BG and you can make it better?? Honestly, what do you say to recruit someone to a losing program other than we can give you a free education. The worse we look the more difficult it is to recruit I'...

OK, so we are struggling in the kicking game, so why not put your best blockers in the game at that time, seeing as though we have a frosh kicker wouldn't this help him? To put injured, weak or marginal blocking personnel in the game during this critical type of ST plays is called not coaching and n...
