When you finish 12th...
When you finish last in the league you basically have no pull in influencing the schedule.

Milk it for all it's worth.
Pitty, he is actually a reasonable goalie. You will probably have a girl, a gay and a minority just to comply with the PC requirement. There are hundreds of these cases that go on every day without fanfare with all the struggles associated with the challenge.
Let's not kid ourselves...
Unice is just average, Spratt is inconsistent and the coaching is abysmal. The future of this program has not improved.

Wait for the facts.
While I have no faith in Paluch, I don't accept spurious charges. As in party politics it seems to me that the "accusation" even if it is fiction is more important than the facts. At the college level the Duke case is an example; bogus claims resulted in lives being trashed and families ha...

UAH expected to name Cole hockey coach Posted by Bruce McLellan April 29, 2007 10:27 PM Alabama-Huntsville will name an ice hockey head coach for the first time in 25 years Monday, and it appears likely Bowling Green assistant Danton Cole will get the job. UAH said Sunday night that it would hold a ...

4/22/07 U.S. Edged by Russia; Settles for Silver Alexey Cherepanov, whose last-second goal in the semis sent Russia to today’s gold medal game, came up with another big goal today, breaking a 4-4 tie at 11:52 of the third period to lead Russia past the U.S., 6-5, in the gold medal game of the 2007 I...

Danton Cole...
Cole was a proven coach before he signed on at BGSU. He undoubtedly did not know that Paluch had a 3-year extension to his contract, so very wisely he's trying to get out before his reputation is trashed.
What would that be, 4 assistants in 3 years, and MACMAN sees no problem out there.

BC have another "Big" let down
After losing to Wisconsin last year BC are beaten 3-1 by MSU. Great effort by a CCHA team.

Eddie Neville...
Eddie Neville has had his up's and downs at BGSU and we can only wish him luck wherever he goes. I was disappointed to hear from some of his teammates how this went down. Neville was summoned to the coaches office where he was presented with a letter. All Paluch said to him was "Everything we w...

Paluch will not resign.
As someone has already said Paluch will not resign. Even with his history making poor record he remains a DI Head Coach. The assistant coaches are in their first year of college coaching and will not likely fill the position if Paluch were to resign. With that said, a complete overhaul is all that w...

For how many years do you want to keep saying that next year will be better? You may be an optimist but I'm a realist and without a major reorganization of the Hockey program BGSU is heading to a third year in the basement of the CCHA. You can blame injuries and illness all you like but it’s only a ...

Omaha 7-BGSU 5
Tonight Jimmy was not at his best and without Unger's 4 goal individual effort, the offence was helpless. I would also say where the H has Unger been all season? Where was Matsumoto, Kantola and Brandon Svendsen. Jimmy Spratt had to face 38 shots, where was the defense? In fact where was the coaching?

OT LOSS 3-2
Bowling Green 7-28-2, I feel sorry for the guy's travelling all that way in cra**y weather only to be beaten. Paluch remains on target to be the worst in the history of BGSU hockey. We allowed them 41 shots on Spratt! Do we have a defense at all? Poor guy, I hope he was one of the stars. All in all,...
NCAA's
Michigan State’s 2-1 loss to last-place Bowling Green puts it on the NCAA bubble. The Spartans already were locked into the No. 4 spot in the CCHA, so maybe that explains something, but they had too much else to play for to get complacent.
