Football Practice Aug.28 at the PFH

Being an employee at the Perry Field House, I get the privilege of being able to watch the football practices when the weather does not cooperate. On this Saturday morning many of my doubts about Omar's ability have changed. On several occasions he zipped passes into recievers where their was little...

Out of position

Given that safety isn't his position, he just tried his best but unfortunately it wasn't enough.

Magner

I also saw him last night at the baseball house and he didn't look to be struggling at all. Even though the cops were struggling trying to shut down the party!!

Marshall

I didn't once compare our university to Marshall I was only providing the Randy Moss example of a player with past problems who went on to succeed, who just happened to go to Marshall. And as for rather having a team that went .500 every year, I don't think many coaches would be around that long wit...

Good Recruits

Career aspirations are great but players and coaches like Dakich need to go for winning first, the rest will take care of itself. Well winning ultimately comes at a price for many athletic programs. Coaches many times have to be willing to take a chance on a star recruit that has a sketchy backround...

Recruiting wrong players

Honestly, how could Dakich know who the right and wrong type of kid to recruit is. He just simply recruits off of pure talent, you never know what will happen with a recruit untill they are thrown into the college atmosphere.

Don't can Dan

The reason why people are leaving the program is simple, they can't take Dakich's hard style of coaching. It's been well known that Dakich is especially hard on his players, coming from his days with Bob Knight. As far as not getting to the NCAA tournament, it is almost virtually impossible to make ...

Garcia and Winslow

Garcia has been injury prone for the last couple of years, he may have played through his injury but the bottom line is he never did anything in the playoffs. Big deal about his stats and pro bowl appearances, the true test of a good quarterback is how they play during the playoffs which he seems to...

Browns fans need to wake up

It's alright for Brown's fans to try and have a positive outlook on this upcoming football season but be realistic. The Browns are maybe the third best team in their division and the signing of a 35 year old never was doesn't solidify a playoff position, they still have a shaky offensive line and de...
