On a side note, some conferences restrict in-conference transfers, or make you sit for two years if you do transfer within your conference. The MAC does not.

Expect an announcement of a new hire to take the position of Director of Basketball operations for the women's team in the next couple of weeks. I hear it was part of his negotiations on a new deal.

Just because there have not been articles written about Curt's on-campus interview at UC, does not mean it didn't happen. Because Curt has the "out clause" for Cincinnati, I am not sure they needed permission and if they did, they certainly were granted it. You can either believe me or not...

This hiring doesn't affect the probability of Miller being here next year at all. He was never even a candidate. So.....having an on-campus interview at UC doesn't qualify him as a candidate? I took the family and thought it was a great event. To me it sounded like Coach Miller really loves being here. I hope that means he is staying. Like it or not. Being in the Big East is better than being in the MAC. Lots of MAC schools are going to be spring-boards for coaches. While I hate to see Curt leave, would I rather have a situation where he never came here and we never had all this success? Heck no! I am pretty sure I have a good id...

UC won 26 games in 2001-02, Curts first year here. The BIG EAST got 8 teams in the dance this year, the MAC just one. Curt turned an awful team into a champion in the MAC, I would be willing to bet he could turn a 15-win team into a championship contender at UC or elsewhere. Remember, the AD at Cinc...

If Curt wouldn't want to go to Cincinnati then why would he ask for an out clause in his contract if offered a job at UC?

I think he ends up at UM or Cincinnati. If he put provisions in his contract to allow it you know he has to feel good about those openings.

Sadly, we will never be able to match Big 10 or Big East money.

Louisville is officially open. Tom Collen was announced at Arkansas on Friday. I think UL is the leading candidate to land Curt. He coached with Tom at Colorado State.
