Re: 49ers release Briggs

I've always wondered why our Football program hasn't produced a NFL starter in years. Suisham is the only player that has been anything close to that. There are only 120 teams in D-I football. We have 80 full scholarships to give out, and we can't produce one consistent NFL starter? I totally agree...

Re: Dakich bobblehead

Speaking of Dan Dakich, here's a link to a description of his career exploits and his current career as a radio show host and Big Ten Network basketball analyst . Not that any of this helps with the bobblehead. http://indianapolis-indiana.funcityfinder.com/2010/07/11/dan-dakich-coaching-legend-and-r...

Re: Ghost Peppers

Yeah, this was my second pepper in just under a week. I have a clip of the first one, which hurt as well, but I haven't pulled it off the camera yet. Anyways, they were very, very hot and made it difficult to continue with lecture. The students absolutely loved seeing their professor in pain. Big th...

Re: Ghost Peppers

Those are the same ones that he grows, the Bhut Jolokia. While Grant only eats a sliver of them in his videos there is an Indian woman who can eat something like 30-40 of them at a time. A woman from India that I work with gave me some pickles that had been made with those peppers, but I was too bi...

Glad to see the site back as well. For a while there, I thought my service provider had a vendetta against AZZ and BG. ;-)

I sure hope Steve lands with an NFL team this season. Especially one where he can get some playing time. Tampa or New England both sound like good fits.

Re: New Falcon Commitment (#2 overall)

per Scout.com's Allen Trieu . . . Grand Rapids (Kenowa Hills), MI Safety JUSTIN FORD has committed to Bowling Green. 6'1/190/4.5 . . . Says he "may grow into a LB for the Falcons." He earned an offer at camp. Last week, he called BG "the coolest campus I've been to." Old news as...

The issue of declining enrollment at BG seems to be tied to the antiquated facilities, both residence halls and academic buildings on campus. For example, the Life Sciences Building needed to replaced/overhauled years ago. In fact with such a huge number of majors going into the health sciences, you...
