this whole thing reminds me of the ONE TIME we didn't play beer barrel and EVERYONE (football team included if I'm not mistaken) was very upset because we abandoned a tradition. Thus, it never happened again (that I'm aware of)...so very interesting that when they didn't feel like it...it was okay. ...

a good point...though I am lame and have never taken part in a tailgate. you would think after having been out of the band for nearly 3 years now I"d have partaken in some tailgating goodness by now. Alas...I suppose there's always alumni tailgating. :)

I'm with Carlson. I loved those couple of early games we had last season! You got everything out of the way early, and then you could go have a Saturday night!
