Re: Falcons mentioned in Wall Street Journal

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the NCAA acquired the NIT a few years ago. So . . .

Re: 2010 Non Conf Schedule

Amazing that we'll be facing two BCS schools, but the game @ Troy is undoubtedly the hardest game out of the 4 to win. We should beat Maryland and Marshall, and Michigan is a toss-up. Overall, it's a much easier slate than what we had this past season. Wow. If I had to bet against the Falcons in on...

Re: Note to the coaching staff

You must have forgotten about Sinisia Vrvilo (this player from BGSU the last two college football seasons who handled the kicking duties). He happened to be 3/3 from 20-29 yard range and 3/5 from 40-49 last year. The year before he was even better going 5/5 from 20-29 yards, 4/4 from 30-39 yards, an...

24, I know it sucks that Zach Charles muffed the punt after the D worked so hard to get the ball back for us but, c'mon. I'd like to see you in his shoes right now. Have you ever done something like that on this level? If your answer is no, then I'm sure that you have no idea how bad he feels about ...

Excellent post, Hammb, I agree whole-heartedly. -4.4 yards a carry is a very respectable number, and something that could easily get higher playing more small MAC defenses instead of BC's and MSU's (even Minny had better size then most of what we'll face). - With recievers all over the place like w...

Gut-check Saturday

This Saturday (10/6) is being labeled by the all-knowing analysts as gut-check Saturday for many of the country's top teams. Our gut-check will be next Saturday in Oxford. I'll be there and I'm looking forward to seeing how Tyler performs after his most recent outing. Certainly there are plenty of t...

I can't wait for kickoff. I've been waiting all week for this one. I'm hoping for a Minnesota-like ending. That would be crazy.

What's up Falcons

Sounds like this game will likely come down to BCs running attack versues the Falcon D. If BC can use their running game as a nice complement to their passing attack I'm worried about our chances. However, our D did a pretty nice job from what I remember against Michigan State's RBs--Ringer and Caul...
