I think Paul Smith and the Tulsa offense were attemping to set some records, like 5,000 yards of offense and having a 3,000 yard passer with a 1,000 yard rusher and three 1,000 yard receivers. I can't fault them for attempting to make history. Besides, they had one WR that needed yards and they thr...

It was good to converse with your fans the last several weeks. Sorry it turned out so lopsided -- I'm watching the replay right now and I see a lot of mistakes I don't think y'all usually make. Hope your QB is OK. Y'all have one of the more polite groups of opposing fans I've met. Hope we meet again...

The consensus out there seems to be that whatever team does better on turnovers and plays more physical has the edge -- of course, that's always the consensus. :D I get the impression that neither team is particularly dominant against the run or all that physical. Our o-line is small, in part becaus...

We were running a high powered spread offense under Urban Meyer in 2001 and 2002 while Tulsa went a comined 2-21 during those two years. The M.A.C. isn't a "little Big Ten" anymore as our defense has played against similar offenses, we won't be starry eyed when you throw a ton and spread ...

Re: Worried about tulsa's offense?

No. Looking at their competition, they seem to be on an even playing field with us. They had many close games with teams they should have blown out. Should be a fun game. Tulsa's Schedule/Results Team: Overall Record Win/Loss Margin Louisiana-Monroe 6-6 W by 18 BYU 11-2 W by 8 Oklahoma #4 11-2 L by...

Army scored 39 against them...enough said. Army scored 14 against Rhode Island? and 3 against Navy. What has Tulsa done for us to give them respect? What have WE done for Tulsa to give them respect? As far as I'm concerned, this game is a push. It can go either way. I know the "experts" a...

Army scored 39 against them...enough said. Army scored 14 against Rhode Island? and 3 against Navy. What has Tulsa done for us to give them respect? We beat MWC champ BYU and destroyed Houston to win our division. We have the #1 offense in terms of YPG. I respect you guys, but it's not like we are ...

El Paso is a tough place to play. That has become a rivalry game for us. We beat UTEP when they were ranked a couple of years ago and Price has had it out for us since. They always get up for us. We won the Marshall, Rice, and Army games. That's what counts. Our defense has been inonsistent, to but ...

MACMAN:  Tulsa has the #1 offense in the NATION . And in regard to Memphis in the 2004 GMAC Bowl, their stud RB broke his leg (it was a break, wasn't it?) and didn't play the second half. Not sure the outcome would've been so lopsided if that hadn't happened. DeAngelo Williams. Broke his leg...

Who gives a sh#t what Jesse Palmer thinks! Didn't he want to choose a wife in a 12 week process on a lame ass "reality" show? Let the whole world pick Tulsa. BG's gonna be ready! BTW, Has anyone played over on Tulsa's message board? In a nutshell...they are the most boring MF'ers I've enc...
