Yes, the MACC. Two ranked teams. None of the other MAC Championship games we hosted, including this year, was two ranked teams. It really does't matter. the gist of my post had very little to do with one game here or there. the gist of the post is tradition and fan support. Hard to argue what I am s...

Listen, many of our fanms have the same problems as a few of you have. A couple of decent years of success and all of a sudden, it is like it erased years of mediocrity. Truth of the matter is that BG fans, like many Toledo fans, are fair-weather fans. Period. To try and win an argument by saying th...

If you have a great fan base, you should still be able to draw a crowd. What does the record have to do with it if the fan base is so great, as you claim. In addition, if the fan base is so tremendous, what does it matter that you live in a small town? Look at the Toledo attendance and you will see ...

It does make me laugh that people on this board think that you guys have such a great fan base of support. You couldn't sell out last year when you had two ranked teams on a Saturday afternoon. It was only like four years ago that you guys had been lucky to draw 8,500 fans a game. Even this year, wi...

Typical of some idiot BOT person talking out of their ass without knowing how things work. I don't know if GMAC wanted BG over Toledo. Nobody really knows. However, the GMAC is way before the MAC Championship game. I would imagine that because the Motor City Bowl is the largest bowl we have a tie to...

The Glass Bowl is widely regarded as the top stadium and atmosphere in the MAC for football. Yes, Miami and Northern outdrew Toledo in 2003 but I am talking about consistently drawing big crowds. Anyone can do well in one good season. I am talking about consistently doing well. Also, the Glass Bowl ...

I think that anyone who would even think about trying to lure him away from Toledo. Everyone in the country knows him as, "Toledo Tom". In regards to loving Toledo, you have to understand that everyone comes from somewhere. I lived in New York City for a few years. I personally hated it: d...

I think what I am, and others are, saying is that it would be preferrable to play the MACC game on Saturday at Noon on ESPN or ESPN2. The ideal situation would be national TV on a night other than a work night or on the weekend. What about Sunday?

I think that part of talent is the ability to play to your talent level. Amstutz is loved by the Toledo faithful. In terms of college football coaches, he is not the cocky, arrogant type like most. This is what makes him popular. One sign of a great coach is your ability to lead in the face of adver...

I think that the MAC is very lucky it was Toledo vs. Miami. If you guys would have beaten us and Akron had beaten Miami, there would have been about 89 people in those stands for the NIU vs. Akron. Having the game on Thursday night is a mistake. Toledo travelled about 16-17,000 fans. But it killed M...

Gradkowski will be fine for the Motor City Bowl. They are not worried. McDougal is still pretty hush hush. I have to say that I think BG is WAY better than Miami. In some regards, I think you guys are more talented than us too. But the difference is done on the field and on the scoreboard. Since we ...

OK, classy chick. I am sure you are real popular, classy and real sexy down there in Wood County. But my adive is to stick with what you know. Not a lot of classy women I know that use the term donkey dick. But, that is outside of the fishbowl in which you obviously live. I have not said a single th...
