Instead of building for the future, we’ve been starting a journeyman upperclassman getting 3 or 4 wins a year to help a coach keep his job. Should of had a guy ready next year with at least a season starting under his belt. I hope next ...

When we fire Loellfer, wonder how many of these kids stay committed?

Does anyone have confidence in Huger being able to take a mix of scholarship holdovers and transfers and develop them into anything cohesive as a basketball team? Not me. It’s just seems that we are just playing his contract out. Sad.

I watched every game at the MAC Tournament this year. The Falcons looked woefully unathletic compared to the other top teams…especially among the bigs. Not saying we need a athletic center, because MAC never gets those athletes. But we don’t have a Ali Mann or Lauren Prochaska on this team. Not expe...

No excitement at all. Just the opposite…apathy. Another wasted year with 6th-year QB McDonald running the offense. We’ll win three games with him and have to start all over again next year…

1. He still has three years on his contract and BG doesn’t have the financial resources to buy him out.

2. He’s an alum.

3. He represents a minority hire for the University. Not playing the race card here but this certainly matters in today’s environment.

As far as where to look for a coach, I would go someone who got a chance at a higher level, preferably Big 10 and was fired. On a happier note: I was in St. John’s Arena on December 19, 1983 when the Falcons beat the Buckeyes 70-64. Colin Irish, Bill Faine and David Jenkins led the Falcons. BGSU would finish 18-10 (11-7 MAC ) that year. Seems a lifetime ago…oh wait.

What makes this even worse is this is a veteran team. Fields and Kulackovskis are seniors, Plowden and Diggs are 5/6 year guys. These guys have been in Huger’s “system” for a long time.
