Chris Brooks was a very successful D3 head coach (1 national title and runner-up twice in 6 years) before taking the assistant job at Michigan Tech. He's at Clarkson now. Unless they interviewed him and passed four years ago, I think he'd take the job in a heartbeat.

He's their new goalie coach. He's got coaching experience, having been a goaltending consultant with Anaheim for three years and a few years as the assistant coach at UMass-Lowell.

Having a guy with that much NHL experience should give them a nice boost in recruiting.
