Re: BG Recruit Honored in Saturday's All-Star Game

Yes you do. Especially if you have already made a commitment. He was already drafted. This wasn't a workout. He wasn't auditioning. Already drafted? Yes. But signed to a contract? No. Pretty big difference there. Assuming the expectation is still for him to play baseball in addition to football at ...

Re: 2014-2015 Roster

Keep in mind Chauncey could apply for a waiver from having to redshirt a year if he were to transfer to another Division 1 school. While there are no firm guidelines set that would guarantee the NCAA granting him one, they have set a bit of a precedent of allowing them for players in similar situati...

All 4 of the women's basketball commitments have been published for some time now by various sources. http://wcfcourier.com/sports/high-school/west_high_wahawks/west-s-puk-commits-to-bowling-green/article_e8b21cb3-4661-5f7c-b1ce-802b428a46b3.html http://www.thecourier.com/Issues/2013/Jan/25/ar_sport...

Re: Cedar Point shuts down the WildCat!

Wildcat goes back longer than 33 years...I remember it being there when I was an 8th grader in 1975 I was going to say that, too. It was always right next to the Jumbo Jet, which was always broken down. Yeah, you're all right (about Jumbo Jet downtime too). Technically Cedar Point had two Wildcats....

Oh gee, titan of a hint in Factman's crystal ball regarding the one face less familiar to us if I read it correctly. More to come perhaps? I believe that is exactly what he suggests.

Re: Did Greg Christopher really play football at Miami?

Approximately 40 seconds of using Google yielded the Blade article from when he was hired which stated "he walked on the football team his freshman year but had to quit because of multiple concussions". Given those two facts, I don't think I would expect him to appear in too many private c...

Re: HOWARD?!?!?!?! What a Flocking Disappointment!!!!!

Why was there such a strong expectation on this board that the opener would or even should be against some “big name” opponent? That doesn't seem to be the typical approach. Akron opened their football stadium against Morgan State last fall. Xavier opened Cintas against Miami U. OSU opened the Schot...

Re: Freddie Versus Sharon, Sanders & Manger

Question, is Jason Rice healthy enough to play at all? Although he didn't play on offense last year until the Kent State game, he did play on special teams coverage units all season until he got hurt. He racked up a fair number of tackles in that role. This year, I don't believe he has entered any g...

Re: Lauren Prochaska in Top 25.......

What makes this honor even more significant is that Lauren is the only one listed from a mid-major or non-bcs team. Although their men's teams have become absolute juggernauts and their women's teams are quite good, Xavier and Gonzaga are both considered mid-majors and definitely do not play in &qu...

That CMU crowd was pretty much all comprised of elementary school students on organized field trips. They played the game last Tuesday at noon and bussed entire classes of school kids in from a bunch of local schools. An interesting promotion, but for comparison sake the attendance for their other h...
