I was speaking more to the production and depth of BSU as compared to Pitt rather than knocking McCoy.

BSU is ridiculously deep at that position and I believe that time may show that Ian Johnson (the headliner) may not even be the "best" of that group.

I think that NCAA "rule" is an urban legend.

Mainly just because AD Gene Bleymeier thought it would be interesting and different. It has sure paid dividends as far as being a great marketing tool and makes for an extremely well-known landmark.
