Re: Bowl Projections!

Also, there are currently 69 teams bowl eligible, the total should be somewhere between 72-75. Its likely the MAC will have 7 bowl eligible teams again, but CMU may be left in the dark. At this point, I think BG is going to a bowl no matter what, but obviously winning the East will solidify that. M...

Re: What the bowl picture looks like right now

If I remember correctly, the 6-6 teams cannot be selected for at-large positions over at-large teams that are over .500. As far as I know, this is not a real thing, though I've heard it too. UCLA (6-7) got a bowl invitation last year to play Illinois (6-6), while Western Kentucky (7-5) stayed home....

What about Sylvester Croom? Not sure if it is possible but that would be a high profile hire that would draw attention to the program and not to mention he has had some success in the past. Where? When? Four 8-loss seasons in five years as a head coach. Yuck. Maybe I grew up too close to Akron duri...

Nobody had uni combinations liek 1979 Pittsburgh Pirates..thy had three different jerseys and three differents sets of pants and at least a couple of hat variations. All of them looked like they had been designed by a hooker on a three day speed binge I've always been a big fan of the '73 Oakland A...

Re: Thanks for the live stats, MAC!

Try sitting closer to a radio. It's a much better position to listen to the games. Standing works sometimes, too. Here's what I'll do. I'll drive to Indianapolis and let you take care of my kids while I listen to the games. Better yet, I've got Sirius in my car...I'll just drive to In...

Thanks for the live stats, MAC!

Every year at the MAC tournament, it's like they've never done this before. Here we are, nearly halfway through the first half of BallsTate-EMU, and the live stats aren't up and running yet. It's not really a huge deal...I'll survive without up-to-the minute scoring updates of the 8-9 Game in the MA...

I'm just shocked to learn there's a hill near Anderson Arena.

Must be new. Wasn't there when I graduated.

Sure. You saw it in the "second floor" of the "courthouse".

Uh-huh.

Holy ####!

He passed Cedric Benson and Thomas Jones!

(or maybe the depth chart is wrong.)

Edit: Looks like that was the depth chart for the Chargers game.

Yep. That's right. Kent State's flagship, WHLO 640 AM from Akron, comes in during the daytime as well.

There goes the Columbus radio affiliate...

WVKO is off the air, and reportedly "bleeding money".

That was fun while it lasted. Guess I'll have to go back to listening to Ohio or Kent State football games when I'm in the car on Saturday afternoons.

Mars Attacks! was awesome.
