Re: New Assistants?
I find it amazing the the Head coaching position and all of the assistant positions were not filled by the you all. You all know everything, football, recruiting, social media usage, everything we need to be successful. I am so sorry you were over looked. BG football will suffer because you were not...

Re: New Assistants?
You are all right the only way to be successful is to be a young tech savvy coach, oh wait... If its all about tech, why do coaches visit schools? Why do they want kids on campus? Face to face matters more, which is why successful programs have higher recruiting budgets (social media is free). FYI, ...

Re: New Assistants?
This is so incredibly ridiculous. Are you really criticizing coaches about social media usage? Kids care about relationships, which are fostered by face to face, or 1 on 1 contacts. Twitter is a means of communication, DM's mostly. Get a grip on reality. Tweets don't win games. Performance on the fi...

Re: Toledo Six Players in PA Big 33 game
BIG33, Just to let everyone know, there is alot of politics involved in the picking of players for this game. It is very tough for a great player at a small school to get nominated, by being outvoted by bigger schools with more votes. Or you can be picked by a coach as players back out, no nominatio...

GB was in Vegas, but it was the UFL, and he was the TE coach, long way from HC. Some guy named Jim Fassel was HC.

Re: Running the spread in Northwest Ohio.
Since birdboy has all of the answers and knows obviously knows everything there is to know about football and BGSU, I would like to make him coach (in his own little world). That being said how do you fix all the "problems" (as you have stated). Please be specific.

Re: A Falcon In The Super Bowl
If my math is right, counting IR & Practice Squad, the MAC has the 4th most players in the SB. SEC-20, ACC & Big10-18, MAC-14, So the MAC is ahead of 3 AQ Conferences Big12-13, Pac10-11, BigEast-4. There are also 12 1AA & 2 D2 players. And NO Rockets.

Re: Running the spread in Northwest Ohio.
The Spread is not a offense it is a group of formations. So, when you speak of fans with no clue, be careful, gross generalizations can be dangerous.

Re: BUILDING THE FOOTBALL TEAM FOUNDATION FROM THE GROUND UP
Get off Clawson's back Bird. He is a good man. The Kind of Guy I like leading our program. For alot of reasons (mostly the Apr Reductions from GB) there were only 65 scholarship players on the team, that is minus 20 from the allowed number. You take 20 scholarships away from any program and see how ...

The store is terrible. I played football at BG, and am a bigger man. They rarely if ever have 3x or bigger in any styles that look good.
