Re: BG @ NMU, Game 2
BG24, the tournament does re-seed after each round, so if BG were to win tonight (a good chance of it, IMO), they would be in Ann Arbor next weekend. Lowest remaining seed would play Michigan, 2nd lowest would play Notre Dame etc. Lake and Alaska have already moved on, and we should be in for a heck...

Re: Radio Broadcasters
Being a part of BGRSO and the crew that calls these games, I can assure you these issues will be resolved. Mispronunciations of Falcon players' names is a bad mistake and it will be taken care of. PM me if any of you would like to discuss these issues more in depth, since I do not want air them out ...

Re: New BGRSO Radio Show
Hey everyone, Sorry about the confusion tonight, I hope you enjoyed the show though. I'm working on trying to get multiple players in studio next week. It just seems like the timing didn't work out tonight, but I was told he would TRY and stop by. If there is any news about next week's show (player ...

Re: Expectations, what are yours for this next season
MACMAN, I agree with the win total that you put down, as well as the GAA. As for the powerplay, after this season, I'd be happy with an 18% conversion rate, since that would have put us midpack in the CCHA this year. Northern, who led the league in PP% this year, was at 19.9%, so I think 30% is a bi...

Re: Short Week: Short Game Thread
Drago, Hirschfeld and Grover were both given game DQ's, which means they can't play in their next team's games. I would also think the league will take a look at this game, seeing if any more discipline needs to be handed down. I would think Hirschfeld will get more than just the one game ban, since...

Re: Short Week: Short Game Thread
Well, what I don't understand about the 7 minute powerplay was the fact that Perkin got 5 for fighting, but if he was fighting, didn't he need to have a person to fight? Didn't understand exactly why Miami didn't have an extra person serving a fighting major as well, but more importantly, since when...

Re: BG v UT
From what I've heard, UT is expecting a big crowd for this game...even on their end. We all know the Brown and Orange travels well, especially to "that school up north". Gates open up at 12:30 from what I've heard too. Should be a heck of a game between #1 in the East and #1 in the West. B...

Re: Game Thread: Western Michigan vs. Bowling Green
The crowds were outstanding both nights! Both nights had over 2,000 people in attendance and that made for a great atmosphere. The guys played hard this weekend and pulled out a sweet 5 out of 6 points, even though that 6th point was SO close to being locked up. Hope the guys keep up the effort when...

Re: Game Thread: Lake Superior vs. Bowling Green
I would assume the goalie switch came as a result of Nick Eno not controlling rebounds. Outside of Lake's first goal, the next two were shots that Nick should have controlled, with one coming right off of his glove, sitting in the crease. If i were the coach in that situation, I would have called a ...

According to the AHL's transaction page, Dan Sexton was called up by the Anaheim Ducks today. Just thought I'd share that. Congrats to Dan for making it to the show.
