Re: Clawson

If Johnson showed anything in that VT game his RS Fr year after Clawson pulled Shilz, maybe a change would have been made earlier. But he looked just as bad, if not worse than Shilz did. Besides, you were predicting Knapke to take over after Shilz's senior year, not Johnson. I don't think Johnson wa...

Re: Clawson

Babers is basically winning with nearly all Clawson recruits. Claw sons football philosophy seems much more " balanced" than Babers, as he is pretty much all offense, and I think this might hurt the defense in recruiting. time will tell. The only thing that ever bothered me about Clawson ...

Re: CPD says winner of Ohio/Akron will be MAC East Champ

Reminds me of his prediction last year. 2. Easy street: The Akron Zips now have an easy stroll to the MAC East title. With the Falcons declawed, and Eastern Michigan, UMass and Miami joining BG as home turf cupcakes, even if the Zips lose an Oct. 18 game at Ohio, it is doubtful they will lose anothe...

Re: Holmes goes down

The discussion started with this quote "You don't get drafted barely out of the fist round and get dumped that quickly. Talk of him moving to another team because of this is silly." I stated it was not silly. Many second round picks DO get moved to other teams (NBA, D-League, or internati...

Re: Holmes goes down

Actually, it is not silly. Look at the last 2 37th picks. The second round is a roll of the dice, very shaky position to be in. Looking at the last two 37th picks says the opposite. Teams just don't dump their second round picks without getting something in return. Daniels was eurostashed (Raptors ...

Re: Non-conference schedule news?

The SID isn't going to come on here and leak info about our schedule..... The issue with "complaining" and "whining" and "kvetching"isn't so much in this thread...it's the generaql tone and tenor of this board. It's May...the sun is shining, the birds are singing. The ...

Re: Non-conference schedule news?

No one here can help you or anyone else with scheduling info...you'll get rumors at best. Why you guys don't just email the coach or AD with your concerns and complaints about scheduling, recruiting, the use of twitter or flow of information is beyond me. I can see airing a gripe once or twice...bu...

Re: If Wichita State coach leaves does Jans head back to Kan

2. He hasn't really proved anything as a head coach of a big program ... yet. He's had one year as a head coach of a big program and while he basically flipped the W-L record, the team still was only seeded 5th of 12 in the conference tournament. He made a step but he didn't really prove anything. ...

Re: Women's basketball schedule released

The home schedule is dissappointing. Really wish we could get some good BCS schools to play us home and home. I seen elsewhere that Louisville and Michigan State would be playing at Dayton this year, so not every BCS school is avoiding mid-majors.

ESPN gave him a score of 83, which is in the "High Major Prospect" classification and is described as "Player has the potential to start or significantly contribute as a freshman for most top national Division I programs." A score of 83 is a "Mid-Major Prospect" 83-86:...
