Re: Thoughts on our opponents this next year ....
Marshall - They lost their star RB but other than that, they should have a pretty solid offense. Marshall defensively was very hit or miss last year. I don't know much about the new coach Doc Holliday or what he plans to do with the team. That being said, playing a team in a coach's first year is g...

Re: 11 runs 63 PASSES!!
Serious question: How did BG throw for 385 yards with no INTs and only score 10 points? Seems like you'd get more by accident. Seems like we should have gotten SOME by accident against OSU. I really thought you guys would win by two or three scores. BG wore us out with 7-10 yard curls, slants and o...

Re: TV coverage of BG @ Marshall this Sat
Does anyone know if the Marshall game might be avaialble at any of the local watering holes on a TV feed the way that the Mizzou game was at Downtown in BG last Sat? The game is being broadcast here in the Huntington/Charleston/Ashland KY markets on WSAZ. Not sure about gameplan or anything like th...

Thanks for the info. I got a reservation at the Pullman Plaza. Holiday Inn was booked. Any tips on a bar to watch college football during the day on Sat? Nightlife you would suggest to hit after we win? The Marshall Hall of Fame Cafe is a block down third avenue from the Pullman Plaza. Ask to be se...

MUTeke, Thanks for that link! That was a really good interview. I just now listened to it and Paul Swann did his homework and asked a lot of good questions. Thanks...good luck this year to the Herd except on 9/19. ;-) If this is Coach Clawson's first year as a head coach it was hard to tell by that...

Re: Marshall Game
Wow, I hadn't heard that sad news about Goddard. He was certainly a beast in the MAC. He was a fan favorite. So much so that Herdnation.com set out to take donations online to help pay a couple thousand dollars towards his final expenses. The donations that came in from Herdfans and fans across the...

Re: Marshall Game
There are several other events planned for that weekend to coincide with the game. Friday afternoon is the 1st Annual Johnathan Goddard Memorial Golf Tournament. Here is the contact info if any of you would like to play for a good cause. He was one of the best defensive ends in the history of the MA...
