Also, Omar is a GREAT insurance QB for the Steelers. If Big Ben ever goes down again, he's can step in and be the same consistant type of QB that Roethlesberger is. He can develop under an awesome coaching staff and go from there. Granted, it will be excrutiating for most BG fans to see Omar surroun...

Of course I'm in a bit of awe of the fact that this guy was picked over Omar, but beyond that he was also picked over Gradkowski, Shockley, McNeal, Olson, and Vick. :smt017 Green Bay's probably taking this thinking "okay, we need a back-up QB for the coming years, but we don't want to get anybo...

And with the 148th pick in the 2006 draft, the Green Bay Packers select quarterback...INGLE MARTIN from FURMAN?!?!??!?!!!

At least it could have been Gradkowski. That, from an NFL perspective, I could understand, but what the hell is this?

I had a class with him my freshman year and remember thinking the guy wore his shoulder pads to class. I was surprised he could make it through the door everyday - the guy's got a good head and it's sitting on a HUGE mantle.

All is not lost

Looking at the stats from tonight's preseason game against the defensive powerhouse ravens, here is Cole's stat line 2 receptions for 34 yards (2nd on the team) and a long of 23 also, here's the stat line on returns for the falcons. I think we may have found an opening PUNT RETURNS NO AVG TD LG B. B...

They don't do 1-25. You have to type in 25-11, then 1-10. They like the drama and suspense, I suppose.

I thought the ranking was a bit low, too, but CFN makes it abundantly clear that these are their PRESEASON rankings and not where they predict them to finish...whatever the heck that means. We're not the only ones who were misranked. If you cheat and look at the higher rankings by fiddling with the ...

Wonderful to see such a large representation of mid-majors in there. BG, Boise, Wyoming, Fresno all in the top 25 of the 'experts.' Also nice seeing Louisville - yet another mid-major - sitting in the preseason top ten! Could this be the year we bust through and start tearing apart this BCS nonsense...

Hmmm....UConn just ran one back for a TD.
Its already hard rooting for a rival for the sake of league success, but its even harder when they let a dude wearing eyeblack in a dome take one back 90 yards.

...and then I realize UT's QB wearing eye black, too and a small part of me dies.
