Re: Chris Jans Fired

He made a huge mistake by going out in BG. I'm gonna say you haven't seen other coaches out on the town like that, let alone drunk. He was stupid if he's done this multiple times!

Re: I was really trying to avoid this . . . (THE update)

You forget who hired him, and it would make him look BAD, if he fired him, and at the same time, costs the university a bunch of money for a buyout. Dr. Mazey needs to get involved and get rid of the real problem. So factman, are you giving Christopher any credit for hiring the hockey coach that ha...

Re: Public Phase of Bring Back The Glory Campaign

Anyone notice that Gary Galley has resigned from the campaign comittee? Hmmmmmmmmm! From today's Sentinel Tribute: But multiple sources said Galley resigned either because he was unhappy with the way the university was overseeing the campaign or because he was unhappy with the way BG's medical staf...

Re: Northern Michigan Weekend

The number of games lost injuries over the past couple of years is concerning. I don't remember this many over the recent years. How much of the medical staff is going to be turning over now that Doug Boersma is leaving?

Re: Chauncey Orr?

He's probably not going to sign with BG. He'll be eligible for free tuition through his father, therefore (as a "walk-on") they may have a extra scholarship to use. I'm willing to bet that is why nothing has been heard.

Re: Senior Recognition Hockey Banquet

Being brought in to be the 3rd goalie means he'll see very little ice time and move on in 4 years.

Re: JOE SHARP FORCED TO RETIRE

Since a replacement hasn't been hired yet, I believe he was there to help Scott Jess who probably has very little football equipment experience.
