Re: Curt Miller on the move...

With the hiring, Curt Miller officially comes out to the media, though he's been out for years within the WBB community.

Re: IU body count up to 3....

Agler will play for Texas Tech, where Brandi Poole is an assistant.

In the meantime, the IU body count is now up to 4, as transfer player Liz Stratman is leaving before ever playing a game. She sat out the 2014-2015 season after transferring from Butler.

Re: IU body count up to 3....

Of the 3, I think Taylor Agler is the most likely candidate. She's from the Columbus area (Olentangy Orange HIgh School). She's the daughter of WNBA coach Brian Agler (LA Sparks, previously Seattle Storm for many years). Agler and Miller have always had a close connection - Agler brought Prochaska t...

Re: Ohio game

Abby Seifker isn't a true post? Baer isn't a "true" post either...saw her play HS ball a few times and she was definitely more of a 4 than a 5...much more comfortable facing the basket. We have accessory players trying to carry the load as primary scorers and they're playing too many minu...

Re: Ohio game

The only true post player on this team able to play right now is Sarah Baer. And I'm talking both 4's and 5's. Miriam played some 4 last year and a little more this year, but she's out of position. Roos hasn't shown a lot of confidence in Baer, starting her for a few games lately but still giving he...

Abby Seifker is not dressed, leaving us with 1 true post player, Baer. BG is fighting hard.

Re: Haven't been really following either team this year.

Here we go again. This thread already has more posts than just about every single game thread for this season, and almost none of it has to do with basketball. I don't particularly care about anyone's personal relationships with anyone else. I came here to share info on BG WBB: game updates, player ...

Re: UMass game postponed...

If we beat Purdue, there is no legitimate reason why we should not be ranked by Monday.

BG v. Marist

At the arena now. Leah Bolton is dressed and warming up with the team. Hope we get to see her play today.

We have a decent contingent of fans, plus a few rows of OSU fans who came early to see this game too.

Go Falcons! Let's show them who is the best of the reigning mid-major powers.

Re: BG at Butler

The Falcons pull out a great win in the end, 61-57. The last few minutes were very competitive. The Bulldogs shot a deep 3 in the last seconds that would have won the game, but Donovan had a huge block. Justinger got the ball, was fouled, and made both FT's which sealed the game. A great win for the...

Re: BG at Butler

C'mon Ladies!! Hit some shots, keep up the defensive pressure, and pull out this game! Can't stress enough how big a 0 in the loss column is. It seems like so many times before we would have our worst losses of the season in the first week, and it would take forever for us to get any respect becaus...

Re: BG at Butler

Bg takes the lead with 15:51, 32-31. BG finally able to penetrate in the paint, lead by Justinger and Hoekstra. Justinger in particular has brought a lot of heart and a lot of hustle to the second half.

BG at Butler

Rough game at the half. Butler leads 27-22, and the only reason BG is that close is due to some silly fouls late in the half by the Bulldogs. Butler is playing great defense on the Falcons and not letting them get any good looks, at the arc or otherwise. Butler crashed the boards early and had somet...

I'll take my chances with dinner and some beers. I love the time slot though. I doubt you could piss us off, to be honest. No matter wha...
