Was hoping Steinman could steal 3 points...but OT we go

Our 3v3 OT play is very bad. Who needs puck possession?

Taking a point is better than being swept I guess. I feel like if we had Steinman in all game we would have come away with the win.

Well we wasted no time blowing our 2 goal lead tonight.

Both OTs this weekend were not good. Not sure why we are so insistent on taking low quality shots in OT instead of cycling it around looking for a higher quality chance. Also trying to hold the blue line instead of taking it back to the neutral zone and regrouping does not really make sense. I know ...

I can only assume Higgins is no longer with the program? Having a forward play D and he’s not listed as a scratch again.

Was a pretty clear facemask when watching the replay. Grabbed the cage, moved his head, and the helmet came above his chin. Not sure how it wasn’t called

Good to get things on film a week before the season starts, work on things. The bench seemed to get shortened for part of the third, but not the direction you'd expect. Seemed like Blake, Lonegran, and Simanovics were on the ice for the majority of the third. Not sure Stjernberg played after the 5 ...

I didn't see Ty Higgins out there or on the line up sheet, hopefully just a little banged up from practice or something.

League seems to be cracking down on hitting from behind, even when they are not hit from behind.

Lot of stuff to fix, luckily we have a handful of games before league play to figure it out.

I see a few other CCHA players. Max Hildebrand from Bemidji is at 47, Carsen Musser from St. Thomas is at 79. Goaltending looks to be pretty solid in the CCHA.

Not a great power play to end the season, but it seems fitting. Hopefully the CHL players can bring much needed skill to the team next year
