Re: New Falcon

Tyler Devlin was born on Monday, and he and mom are both doing great. http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/198200_891578941700_20910463_45377531_7586630_n.jpg Understand the Tyler part - Tyler Sheehan. But what about Devlin? If I had a son, I would name him Doyt Magner McClure Redd Sheeha...

Re: Georgia Tech

I would be all over this trip, but the wife and I are bringing a newborn home from the hospital tomorrow, so it's not going to happen. The game will be on either ESPN2 or 3, or at least the ocho, so I'll still be able to cheer us on. I would expect fan support similar to what we had in East Lansing....

Re: BG v EMU

That's one of the worst crunch-time calls I've ever seen. Foul or Timeout are the two options, and she calls the quickest jump ball in history

Re: BG v EMU

Well, we didn't score a single point for about 8 straight minutes, and we're still up at the half. I like our chances.

Re: BG v CMU

And my least favorite aspect of college basketball rears its head again. Down 10 with 11 seconds left and you are still fouling intentionally.

BG wins! Bring on Toledo.

Re: Cavaliers...

There is no way in Hell the Knicks beat the Heat, Bulls, and Celtics in consecutive road series. Each of those three teams are considerably better than the Knicks. You have to at least pretend to play a little D in the playoffs. The Knicks are not going to be able to run games up into the 110s agai...

Re: BG v CMU

cmu was stupid making it this chippy (rimshot) - now the refs have tightened up and CMU can't play the aggressive handsy defense they were living on in the first half. CMU's composure is being tested now with BG up 10 all of a sudden.

Tell you what - Central is impressive. We've got ourselves a game here - up 3 at the half.

Re: Cavaliers...

The problem with the Heat is that James/Wade/Bosh are all Iso scorers. When good teams force them to get points in the half court, they are struggling because they aren't moving the basketball. They are forcing up a lot of contested jumpers, and you just can't win consistently that way, even with 2 ...

Re: Cavaliers...

It was so satisfying to watch DRose and company sweep the LeBitches yesterday. Rose and Noah hate those 3 so much, I'm not sure the no-heart crew in South Beach will ever be able to overcome their will. I've got a shiny nickel that says at least 67% of those douchebags are re-thinking their decision...

Re: Bobcats

Works for me. OU plays a more up tempo game. I didn't want to play a defensive battle tested game. OU has a long 8 hour drive back tomorrow from Dekalb and then a short turn around before a noon tip on Wednesday Ouch. That's the price you pay for not winning games during the conference season. Inte...

Re: Time for a change

I think Orr is more than capable on game day. However, I do think he has fallen short in recruiting which translates to wins. IMO, you have that reversed. Recruiting seems to be picking up, but I think his schemes are poor, to put it kindly. Agree 100% with the sentiment that he at the least needs ...
