Jazz Matthews

Just heard the news that Jazz has been diagnosed with MS. My prayers are with her as she deals with this. She was a favorite of mine, but injuries hampered her BGSU career.

Re: Bg vs Ill. State

Hope I'm wrong, but from the post game interview, it sounds like the injury to Erica Donovan might be a serious one.

Re: WNIT Game Monday against St Bonaventure

I am guessing the second one is St. Bonvaventure AD Steve Watson. Graduated from BGSU in 1990...transferred to BG from Rutgers for his final 2 seasons of basketball.

Re: BG vs Miami

BG beats Miami 73-56. BG now 26-3 on the season. MAC EAST champs. However it will be very hard beating Akron on Saturday as well as most likely Akron and then CMU with only 3 bench players. We really need M.J. or we will be a very tired team. Unless we lose to Akron on Saturday, we won't have to fa...

Re: BG v CMU

That was a big win for BG. I just wish it could have been a little more competitive, especially in the second half. Unfortunately CMU was as cold as a rock sitting outside in the winter. Shooting 32% overall and only 14% from three point range won't get it done on most nights. Bradford couldn't hit...

Seems to me that this subject has been beat to death...maybe we could move on to something else, like congratulating Alexis Rogers on her player of the week award.

Re: BG v Akron

Enjoyed reading Hackenberg's column about BG: http://www.toledoblade.com/DaveHackenberg/2014/01/13/Matthews-adds-depth-to-loaded-BG.html Nice to see the recognition given to Jasmine Mathews. Her return to full strength has been important, as she does a lot of things to help the team. She doesn't sco...

I seem to recall he was also a very good high jumper in high school.

Re: BG vs The School down South

Great team win for the Falcons. Balanced scoring, bench scoring, and 57.1% from the arc add up to a winning formula.

Congrats Falcons!
