Marching Band

At the last home game the band was told to be quiet even though they had been following the "script"; they were interfering with the marketing agenda. Personally I believe the advertising should be on the video board and band should have priority. I don't want or expect a quiet field and c...

Who among us would be happy to hear the team got off the bus happy with the game or this season? It wasn't fun to watch, it couldn't have been fun to participate - these guys have tasted succcess, but this was sour. GB's biggest challenge is facing him square on. Recruiting will not be easy, and bui...

Macon looks good in practice - good cuts and speed. Bullock is coming along nicely after sliding through his red shirt year. Bullock is a load, has good speed and balance from what I have seen.

After visiting the NM website I think I understand Paul's comment. Their athletic department budget is $22 million. They already have the facilities we only wish for and the conference has 3 bowl bids every year. Not to mention that they have men's tennis, track, swimming (even skiing). Sports he wa...

KB (Brantley) had a knee injury in preseason and wore a brace for the season. With full recovery he is one of our fastest receivers. He is also a great guy who will give everything he has.

Hutcherson never showed much in practice. Routinely dropped the ball.

My take is that we showed little respect for Ohio in that we would open with this trick play. This was further emphasized by the fact that we "practiced" running the ball for much of the game. It was obvious that we could throw when we need to make points. Ohio was only in the game due to ...

Coach Brandon addressed this at the monday radio show. He admitted that the big, fast defensive guys are rare and tend to go to the top programs. He indicated that we will do our best to get them but.... Personally I cannot stop thinking that it is really sucks that Crosley and Leininger are no long...

There is a basic diference in how an offensive and defensive lineman thinks and reacts. On offense you have a task to complete and a set of blocking proceedures (along with the other o-linemen) to make the play work. On defense you also have schemes to carry out and holes to fill, but your basic goa...

Welcome! We lived in Harleysville, Lansdale area from 1970 to 1976. Is the Collegeville Inn still operating? Possibly the largest buffet in the country! We still have friends in Coopersburg and get to visit them occasionally. We really miss the beautiful countryside and trips into Bucks county, etc.
