I thought Miami had good size and strength across the board. They are a beatable team, just like any other team but I'm not sure if we had the horses tonight to do it. You want to hope that we have those kind of horses in the stable here, but truth be told I think we needed a little more jump and a ...

Exactly BO, except you wrote it the Grad school way and sounded more intelligent... Don't get me wrong, Morrison is a good hockey player but there isn't really anything about him that strikes me as being a leader on the ice. In all fairness to him, he had some huge shoes to fill. Sometimes its the ...

The thing about Yost is, once you get down more than two goals you might as well pack it in. That barn is one of the toughest to play in period, once they get up on you they clamp down very hard. The guys have it in them to be something special, they really are on the cusp of returning to glory. Con...

On a second look.. Howells did kind of set himself up for that by turning towards the boards, and he just played the puck. None the less it was still dirty. I still think the only infraction that could have been called is a borderline charge. The hit gets Howells turned, it was lead with the should...

My biggest thing with that hit is the fact that Johnson left the bench as an extra attacker, and skated directly across the ice to make the hit. Now, I don't know about anybody else, but I know it takes a lot more than three steps for me to get across the ice. I'm not sure if it's the same way anym...

I honestly thought the difference was Horrell tonight. He just didn't seem to be on his game. He seemed to let in a lot more "soft" goals then usual. I haven't looked at the stat sheet yet, so my opinion may change. From my vantage point it didn't seem like any of them showed up tonight w...

I trust Ron's eye for talent. Jon Ralph as a recruited walk on is a coup. Any predictions on additional recruits for 60-07?? Another FWD, another 1st string goalie? next year D-men Senior Bronson Jr Nesdill Hodgson Soph Sinkewich Schmidt Ralph Maxwell Freshman Moore I'm probably wrong here, but I t...

I think theres something to be said about moving them to the end, although, it would be better if we had seats at the other end (harassing the goalie like in the old days. I can see both sides of this, if you're paying for season tickets you want to be able to see the game and enjoy it in comfort. L...

Re: Nice responses...

It's the Journey..., you are loyal and I sincerely hope not over optimistic. How long does it take to get a hockey program to be competitive? I only have Pooch's record at BGSU to consider and the CCHA stats. FalconFiesta50, I was thinking more of the omission of James Unger from the St. Lawrence g...

Re: BGSU Falcon hit bottom...of CCHA.

With Notre Dame’s 4-3 win over Lake Superior today the Falcon’s of Bowling Green take up the last position in the CCHA. The Falcons record of 4-8-1 in 13 conference games and 5-11-1 in 17 games overall, is now the worst record in the CCHA. Notre Dame at 6-11-1 overall is next to bottom. Pooch’s lac...

Re: BGSU Take out #14 in Nation 6-4.

In a good game tonight BGSU get’s a win over Nationally 14TH ranked St. Lawrence. The difference tonight was Horrell’s steady play in net. Midway through the 3rd Horrell makes a save without his stick and saved 35 of 39 shots. Trevelyan was dangerous throughout the game for St. Lawrence with a &quo...

Svendsen's play shows a lot character to be the first guy back for BG, diving to clear the puck from going in the EN. I really like his work ethic, he's consistently strong on both ends of the ice, playing confident and making good decisions.
