Are sports other than football able to use the field house? I think we are going to take a trip back to BG this summer to show our children the campus. I'll have to visit all the new facilities.

Thanks for the response.

A multi purpose indoor facility would be great for BG baseball. The indoor cages and gyms works ok but it still isn't great. Is there a facility in place now? I haven't been to BG in many years and thought there was some mention of a large indoor facility being proposed primarily for football.

The pictures in and around Boise are beautiful. Makes me want to grab my fishing gear and head for Idaho immediately :) Thanks 1BoiseBro for sharing the pictures........ it reminds me of Southwestern Virginia and Western North Carolina even though our mountains are "hills" compared to the ...

The only player I can think of that played during Coach Schmitz's tenure that would deserve mentioning would be Brian Koelling. Brian was drafted by the Reds back in the early 90s, so I think that would put him on one of Coach Schmitz first teams at BG. Brian was definitely a tremendous player. He ...

. With baseball scholarships limited to 11.7 for 32-34 players, coaches have to be VERY selective in what positions they recruit every year. . Has BG been able to fund the 11.7 scholarships? When I was a g/a for BG baseball (late 80's) BG was only funding 8. If I'm not mistaken, the entire MAC conf...

The Roanoke Times (Virginia) is reporting that Jacob Hardwick, a 6-3 255lb. defensive end from Ocean Lakes H.S. in Virginia Beach has signed with us. I don't know anything about Hardwick but I know that his area is the best talent pool of players in Virginia.

Grant, I too (can't make it up to BG) will be giving through our church Sunday school class. Thanks for making the effort to collect through AZZ. I'll bet that many of the folks who read/post here will help the tsunami victims. As an addition to what was already posted earlier, I think that the citi...

Brown is beautiful. I wish we would go back to the uniforms with a strong emphasis on brown.

The all orange is ok but I'm not fond of the all white uniforms.

I've expressed my positive view on the Memphis area in other posts on this board. The Liberty Bowl would be a great tie in for the MAC. However, for BG, the MCB Bowl is a better option for attendance because of it's close proximity. Attendance for the MCB has been very good the last 2 years. Most of...

Memphis is a very good place to visit. I'm fortunate enough to be required to attend an annual meeting in downtown Memphis. The nightlife and food are outstanding. The Rendezvous is a must for the ribs but there are many other good places to eat. Texas DeBrazil has an outstanding selection of beef, ...

The peformance put on by the Tigers against Louisville scares me. That game was one of the most entertaining of the year. Louisville is an outstanding team and should have beaten Miami. Williams is a really good runner. I think our offense can score with anybody but the defense will have to make som...

I too, think that money is the number one issue in keeping coaches. However, generating the funding is the root problem. What we need is a way for BG students and alumni to view the Falcons as their number one team. When I was at BG (89-90), many of the students viewed OSU, UM or ND as their favorit...
