Buffalo punches their ticket to the sweet 16!

If this holds, it will be two teams in the sweet sixteen at the same time and toledo still playing in the NIT!

Both CMU and Buffalo (both 11 seeds) leading their opponents (#3 seeds) by double digits at or after the half in the second round. Toledo currently up on Sparty in the NIT as well.

56-49 end of the 3rd. We are down 7. In large part because they are 17 of 20 for free throws. We are 4-8. Can you imagine a Curt Miller team shooting 50% fro. The line? Or having that kind of imbalance in fouls. There is still a chance to pull this one out. It's going to need a smart 4th quarter.

Just got home from that game. It wasn't even as close as it sounds. Central played all subs, 4 freshman, the last 7 minutes and still out scored the rockets 20-8

The MAC is still doing very well. Currently the MAC has 8 schools in top 100. 5 in the top 60. Overall conference RPI is #7 out of 33. SOS is ranked #11. This could be the year the conference receives an at large bid. If CMU and Buffalo keep winning, they both deserve bids, regardless of what happe...
