Re: ONE YARD RUSHING
Someone asked what happened to my Son, Brian Jennings II, after the video showed he wasn't involved with the fake $100 situation, why he wasn't on the roster? This is why... He came over from EIU, where he played as a True Freshman, with Babers. Obviously, Babers left and he wasn't prepared to sit a...

My point, would be to ATTEMPT to join the Big 12 since schools are trying to leave that ConferenceFlipper wrote:We're a candidate to join the Big 12? Are we going to do that after we fly to the moon with our rocket boots?

Re: Moose on BG's Financial Restraints....from the Blade
Not having 12 football schools eliminates the championship game and much of the blathering that goes on during MACtion games. You need to have games with conference championship implications to promote. Most don't care but it does bring some attention. I believe the NCAA has adjusted its rules so t...

Re: Moose on BG's Financial Restraints....from the Blade
Bill, I had the same thought. The statement is both deceptive and not. It is deceptive because students are free due to the student fee. It is not deceptive because that student fee is money already guaranteed. Not a single cent of revenue from sold tickets is guaranteed, and we need each and every...

Re: Moose on BG's Financial Restraints....from the Blade
MAC goes from 12 schools to 10 (preferably 8 with a strong out of conference schedule) the regional talent is spread out over fewer programs and the TV money the conference received would be a bigger slice between fewer programs. It's a stretch but an option.

Re: Two players charged with forgery
As a father it was tough to see the article and follow the blogs and not be able to say anything, but I knew the eventual outcome, DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE. My son requested a Polygraph but it became unnecessary after detectives reviewed the video and he CLEARY did not pass any counterfeit money. In...

Re: Valdez to Transfer
Moving to P5 may be good for him since he'll more than likely move to Safety or Outside LB where he isn't so undersized. It's possible that this young man preferes not playing middle. This kid is playing under his 3rd Coach and I have seen comments about loyalty, come on Man!
Re: What if?
At what point in my post did I indicate anything about our receivers? I'm talking about coaches who change up their offense se drastically in one year. I believe our receivers have the greatest room for improvement. Chemistry between receivers and QB is not there. Receivers are shuffled around a bi...
Re: What if?
I would add to the abov, coaches who drastically change up their offense rarely find success. A few examples ... - Phil Fulmer hired Dave Clawson to bring the spread to Tennessee. It drastically failed because Fulmer wanted a slower paced methodical offense to help his defense but he hired an innov...
Re: What if?
It's rare, in today's coaching era, to see a coach that's married to a system but its clearly the case at BG. He had losing records for his first 2 years at the HS level but won it all in year three. PROBLEM, that was HS. Our defense isn't as bad as they play, they're TIRED! Look at the KO and Punt ...

Re: Knapke or Morgan?
A running game would benefit whichever signal caller we put out there. Being honest, no position should be safe and adjustments need to be made at a few skilled positions or the QB play will be duplicated regardless to which player plays.

Re: Knapke or Morgan?
Let's be fair because Knapke won when he played under Babers so I would venture to say that he didn't suddenly forget how to throw a football. Pay attention during games and you'll see that the receivers NEVER break off routes regardless to defensive alignment or blitzing. Once the play is called th...
