Actually, there was one mention of Bowling Green and the spread, but it was erroneous. They said that when Pinkel went to install the spread, one of the first people he called was Urban Meyer because they knew each other well from their time in the MAC together (said like they were slumming it). My ...

Needing a passport to drive to Canada has been delayed up till June 29th, 2009 (no actual date is currently set). The original implementation was going to be Jan 1st, 2008 though. Congress set it back because of the huge backlog with passports. Having said that, it appears the backlog is over. I app...

Urban on Saban
I was just reading an article on ESPN about Nick Saban leaving for Alabama after saying he was going to stay in Miami. The author followed to call out several other coaches that did the same thing and I couldn't stop thinking that Urban belonged in that club. Low and behold there is a sidebar with U...

I don't think anyone has brought this up since last year, but what about a three way tie? If Ohio beats Kent, and all three of the teams run the table, they would be tied with 1 loss. Isn't the tie breaker the conference record of cross-division games? Here is the current breakdown: Kent: UT 0-3 EMU...

I don't know what they're called, but Moe would wear one of those orange and brown Bowling Green caps with the little pom-pom at the top. It was pretty feminate, but he seemed a decent man, although a poor head coach. Strangely enough, I don't know what they are called either, but my father has had...

USC usually means University of Southern California...until USC-E does something, it will still be talking about the trojans. and I've only been to Oxford once, so my comment was kinda TIC...however it is also true. I say the two USC's fight it out for who gets to use the initials. They should play...

Hey all, my group of 10-12 will be there around 1 or so. Hammb -- this is an offshoot of the other thread, but have you ever left your car down there overnight? We're thniking about taking cabs back to Lakewood after W. 6th after the game. ... I'm wondering what the clientele, so to speak, is like ...

My girlfriend lives on W. 6th, so I am going to have her pick me up and park in her garage. :) She is one of those Redskin-hawks, so this will be her first taste of BG football. Fortunately she shouldn't require much re-programming......she didn't even know Big Ben played at Miami and she was a stud...

ESPN Plays of the Day
Omar's TD pass made ESPN's top 10 plays of the day. I wasn't paying close attention until I heard his name and looked up, but I believe the play was #7. That ball was threaded in there where only the TE could catch it and what a spectacular catch it was.

My girlfriend lives on W. 6th in the Warehouse District, so it will just be a five minute walk for me. :P Incidently, for those of you not familiar with Cleveland, W. 6th is out of control on weekend nights for those of you wanting to continue to party. Oh yeah, and don't ask about the Flats like ev...
