Mitch Crossley

I have heard from several of the football players that Crossley has signed a contract to play in the CFL - not sure which team though.

Rumor around Scott's family and friends is that his agent really screwed him. Scott did not run in the first pro day here at BG because of a sore groin muscle. Although he did run at a later pro day, it appears that many NFL teams still thought Scott was hurt - in other words, his agent screwed him....

As I have said elsewhere, Scott will go in the 4th.

Sorry to get back to seriousness, aka the original draft discussion, but Scott will go in the 4th round! The best anyone here has given him credit for is 5th.

He will go to either the Bengals or the Texans.

and Keon will be picked up as UDFA!

Orange and Brown said it best. I don't believe anyone is trying to knock our up-and-coming receivers - at least that was not my intention at all. I do, however, doubt that any newcomers could immediately fill the holes of those that left this past year - Magner, Hawkins, or McGrady. Part of what mad...

Ponies

I've been waiting for this to surface, considering the losses at wide receiver, the talent of P.J. as a receiver, and the advantage of having Pope and Lane on the field as much as possible. Not to mention how successful Utah was at running a two back set out of the shotgun!

Last I heard from Scott (on Monday of this week), he was still projected 4th/5th round, but the Texans have expressed recent interest in drafting him as early as the 3rd round. The Bengals have also expressed interest in drafting him, probably in the 4th round, as their current center is in his mid-...

I believe BGSU fan made a mistake and flipped the players on the line. If it was not a mistake, it is wrong, because Warren is staying at LT, and the last I heard, Lichtensteiger is staying at LG. Center will be either John Lanning or Jonathan Culp, but is still undecided, right guard will be either...

I don't have much to add, I just wanted to commend such excellent analysis by hammb. And I do hope he stays, but I think I see Fitch's point, and I think I agree as well - especially with what I have heard about Anthony Turner. I don't see BG missing a step if Omar leaves early, and the recognition ...

Dan Macon is the real deal, and I would expect him to be the running back after PJ and BJ's departure. Among other talents, Dan has the fastest 40-time on the team, and I am sure you all remember his 70+ yard TD-run during last year's spring game. As far as BJ's playing time, I would hate being in C...

It is a broken toe, as I mentioned in a previous discussion thread, but I was incorrect about it being the Toledo game - he broke the toe in the Ohio game.

Makes his incredible year seem that much more incredible, since he was working on a wounded foot!

I wouldn't be so quick to lump all of the directional michigan schools together. Our defense looked great against Western, no doubt, but we had some struggles against Central and Eastern. Central's little running back, Seymour, gave our defense fits, a la Garrett Wolfe, and Eastern stayed around way...
