Re: vs. William & Mary (11/19)

The only thing worse than shooting 1-12 from 3 is giving up on shooting them. But a couple of steals have us back to within 7. I'm fairly certain we aren't winning this game if we don't make a couple of threes. Why isn’t Wol getting minutes? Is he a defensive liability? He can at least sink some th...

Re: @ Michigan State (11/16)

I mean, really. Falcons may have lost no matter what. But that was some piss poor coaching down the stretch. Nothing but turnovers or missed 3-pointers. Never tried to keep it a one or two possession game. Just let it swirl down the drain. That's a tough one for a Falcon fan to swallow. Those chanc...

Re: MAC SEMIFINALS vs. Kent State (3/15)

Has anyone seen anything about Chris Payton Jr.? It looks like the last game he played was on February 27th.

The video of senior night they posted on Instagram earlier today had everyone mentioned above besides Humphrey unless I just missed him.

Re: The X factor

Simon started off pretty hot on the refs the first part of MAC play. For a team that wants to get to the foul line you have to work the refs in a better way. I was worried that he was starting make a name for himself in the wrong way with the MAC refs. At the beginning of the Toledo game Lamont Simp...

Re: 2023-24 Schedule Question

With Notre Dame College closing their doors at the end of the semester I thought it would be a fun look back memory lane to see how our previous 3 coaches faired against the D2 Falcons from the Cleveland area. Orr Never played Jans 1 win - 88 to 64. David "Pep" Joseph lead the way with 14 ...

Re: vs. Buffalo (2/6)

Edwards could turn into that lock down defender we need on the perimeter. He shows flashes of it when he is in. He is also really good at getting to the rim. He is strong enough to finish through contact. If he figures out his shot he could be really really good. His form doesn't look that bad they ...

Re: vs. CMU (2/3)

I think the size of our guards is really starting to hurt us in MAC play against the top teams. MAC play is very physical and always relying on the refs to call a foul is not going to work well especially in postseason play. The trio of Thomas, Phillip, Humphrey are allowing heavier guards to get to...

Dropped off a care package for the UT ticket office while picking up my tickets for Saturday. Nothing like a good box of donuts to act as a trojan horse.

Re: At Miami

This should be a pretty good match up for us in the paint. The three bigs getting their most minutes are 6'8", 6'8", 6'9" and one of them weighs 300 lbs. Our big's mobility should give us some good looks and pressure on the rim. Without having a big shot blocker at the rim Hill and Th...

Re: @ Akron

It will be fun to see us have bigs that should be able to put up a fight against Freeman down low. The last time he played BG he had 21 pts and 16 rebs. I think we will look pretty small against them on the wings though as they start 6'3", 6'3", 6'8", 6'7", 6'9" with all of ...

Re: vs. Eastern Michigan (1/2)

Simon mentioned that the guard injured will be ready to go. Unfortunately, no news on Towns. The lack of a third big man is going to kill us in conference play if he can't get back soon.

Re: Kansas City

Hopefully this can be a confidence booster for PJ Edwards. He played well and will be a key player if Towns is down for extended time. I am hoping Simon is tightening the rotation and using the non-conference schedule to build game stamina for MAC play. The inconsistent rotations from the previous r...
