I was slightly mistaken on the penalty free game. An old media guide (think it was 99-00) lists 11/24/1978 at Northern Michigan as the only game BGSU Hockey has played without any penalties called (both teams). That one did not list a game for only BG having no penalties.

Really good effort and a fun game to watch. Amazing when the teams are allowed to play a bit. When was the last regular season game that BG wasn't called for any penalties? Welcome to the club. CCHA loves it's "parity," whether it's natural or not.

Whynott, Waters, Doran, rewarded with the empty net goal. Those guys have been clutch the last two games defending the 6 on 5. Love to see guys like that get rewarded.
