Sorry I didn't find this post before posting in the other thread. I agree that Niekamp would be a good fit. Michigan just hired a guy similar in age. I don't think he's too old. He can flat out coach.

I think Alan Major would be a good hire. Forgive me if this has already been covered, but has anyone mentioned Ron Niekamp from the University of Findlay? He has been a long time local coach who is highly succesful in the smaller circuit. I could see him moving up to Bowling Green and being very suc...

Wait one sec... that is the early line from the stardust of all places, several others are calling the game PICK. I think the Stardust is the book that typically sets the initial line and everyone else goes from there. The Stardust is the most respected of all sportsbooks in Vegas. Most of the othe...

What did anyone really learn about Wisconsin? Defensively, they got to Jacobs a little, but not like last year. Losing Erasmus James and Antaj Hawthorne is going to hurt them. Bowling Green's offense has not come close to putting up those types of numbers against teams with good defenses like Purdue...

Dayon's...I was about 10 feet to your left at The Stadium Bar when you took that band picture and about 10 feet to your left and up 2 rows for the game! Did you hear the crazy old dude behind you occasionally screaming incoherent obscenities? That guy was a riot. Overall, I was not impressed with th...

A freshman starting corner? Ouch. If that is the best that can be put on the field, then Omar and Company better score 50 per game, because they may need it.

I'm less bullish on the Wisconsin game now. I had hoped that some of the vets would step up in the defensive backfield.

Nothing screams "We aren't a big time college football program" than a gimmicky stunt like that.

That would be an embarrassingly bad idea.

You guys don't actually believe that, do you?

If the right job opened up, I don't we'll have GB for more than another year or 2.

38-34, BG.

I worry about Wisconsin's running game. I see Northern Illinois from last season...when BG couldn't stop any sort of run. If the BG offense plays like it can, then I think it will be a high scoring, yet close game.

OSU charges $61 per ticket PER GAME. And those $61 tickets aren't exactly on the 50 yard line. For season tickets, that $61 is only after a minimum $1000 Buckeye Club donation to earn the right to buy season tickets, bringing the cost for season tickets to about $1800/pair Supply and ...

I'm a BG and OSU grad and am a huge fan of both teams. My least favorite day is when the 2 teams play. My head wants to explode.

I'm heading up to Madison for the game and it can't get here fast enough.

I think Pam Ward worked with Mike Tomszak last year, instead of Spielman during most broadcasts. I don't remember who they teamed up with Spielman last year,
