Not that it is a big deal, but I didn't see Guerin on the bench last night. Any ideas about that? (We dressed 11: Clements, Wilson, Freeman, Floyd, Dusan, Moon, Phillips, Samarco, Soler, Marschall, Lefeld) Guerin has mono, it got cut from my game story today. Kind of sad since it was his poster giv...

Hi guys and gals. Still a little groggy from last night but wanted to chime in on the tie-breakers. Here's the deal -- if Northern loses tonight and Miami wins on Monday, BGSU clinches. Here are some of my calculations on the tie-breaker that is mattering the most right now, the winning percentage o...

Just wanted to clarify - as I wrote in my article today, Brandon said that Anthony's aches and pains won't keep him out of the Miami game. Because the injuries are fresher, Anthony's in more pain, but they are not as severe as Omar's, Brandon said.

If you play one snap your year is activated and your "redshirt" is gone. If a player misses most of the year with an injury the school can apply to get the year back. But if there were no injuries to the player, no matter how little he played, if he played at all he can't get the year back.

Depth chart changes

A new depth chart was released today on page 16 of the Wisconsin release, which is on the BGSU web site. The coaches shook some things up on defense. Freshman Antonio Smith is first at a cornerback position, with freshman Kenny Lewis backing him up. Terrill Mayberry has moved to free safety and Deau...

Hello again everyone. Warthog: the Blade hired a new sports editor, Frank Corsoe, around the same time I started. He moved some people around and that coupled with vacations has lessened the pro baseball coverage. But long-term I think we’re still going to make an effort with the Tigers/Tribe. Macma...
