My name is Larry Metzger. I live in Northwood, OH, just southeast of Toledo with my wife, Sue. We have 2 sons, Dave, a 2000 grad of BG, and Mike (McMetz811 on this site), a current VCT major at BG.
After I graduated from high school in 1966, I enrolled at the U of Turdledo (strongly suggested by my dad who was a UT grad). After a couple years of mindless wandering there, I left and went on to Penta Technical Institute, now known as Owens Community College, where I earned associate degrees in Mechanical Engineering Technology & Electrical Engineering Technology. After getting a job, I returned to Bancroft High (aka UT) where I took a few more engineering classes. It was a while before I realized what I was doing and where I was doing it. That was the end of my experience there. I have been working in the engineering/technical field since then.
My wife and I have been very happy with our experiences at BG. Sue especially enjoys the Marching Band and Athletic Band at football and basketball games where she has been able to see and hear our boys playing.
