A little about myself:
I graduated from Wayne High School in June of 1997, and by the Fall of the same year, I was enrolled at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio as a Visual Communication Technology (graphic design) major.
Upon earning my Associate degree in May of 2000, I transfered to BGSU, majoring again in VCT, and my first semester was Fall of 2000. I finished all my classes in December, 2002, but had to internship for 2 full semesters before I could earn my BS. Having had trouble finding such an internship, I didn't find one until I was completely done with everything else, which is not how the university intended the co-op program to run, but that's their problem.
My current job is still where I started my internship in June, 2003, at Trader Publishing Company in Miamisburg, Ohio, the national publisher of Auto Trader, Truck Trader, Cycle Trader, Heavy Equipment Trader, The Tradin' Post, and similar other fine (
I hate my job. More than anything else. Anything. It's 3rd shift, 11 hour shifts, half of which are on the WEEKEND (Friday & Saturday). It's a step up from a sweat shop. Luckily, I find freelance work occasionally (one of them being this website), and am skilled in just about any kind of graphic medium you can imagine, be it print design, web design, multimedia/flash design, video production, or computer animation. My ideal job is something where I can combine all of these things and have creative control producing something that will affect many people (in a positive way, I hope).
But enough of the resume. I've been a BG fan (of the university) since I was little, when my aunt went here (class of '84), and I used to ride up to BG to visit her, being all of 5 or 6 years of age. These were my first memories of BG.
I enrolled at BG during the waning years (year?) of the Blackney era, so I wasn't too excited about BG athletics (football being my favorite sport), but I still went to many of the games. With the success of the program, my interest also increased, and have been following it closely since the 2001 season.
