Security Software and AZZ

Grant,

I updated my McAfee to its latest incarnation and included their SiteAdvisor add-on. Supposedly, this will warn the user when he is accessing a site that may have some security issues.

Well, when I came to AZZ, the icon showed up as red. I clicked for more information and the security site said:

"When we browsed this site, it made unauthorized changes to our PC".

Not sure what that means, and I don't really care, but here's a link in case you are interested:

If anything, AZZ probably just dropped a cookie on your computer. Nothing too big, I think.

That's exactly what it is. Ay-ziggy-zoomba.com uses cookies to know when you were here last so that it can know which posts are new since your last login and so that it knows who you are w/o having to log in each time.

Despite what a lot of security software will lead you to believe, Internet cookies aren't usually bad at all.

SiteAvisor finally recognizes AZZ as a good site now. :D
