Thanks to TG1996 for the flash countdown piece...

Any feedback is welcome. If you see it slowing things down or if you want to see it tweaked, let us know!

It's a nice touch to the website. I like it very much. Very cool Tony and Grant.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, Firefox doesn't seem to cache the swf file... IE does... I'll see if there's a fix for that... it's kind of annoying in FF

I don't know if you fixed it already by my FireFox and IE show it exactly the same. It's a nice touch but you're probably going to have some band members complaining about how fundamentals week starts first and should get the countdown

Hmmmmmmmmmm, maybe I'm "over tweaked" in FireFox then, b/c I show a blank box that takes a second or two to "reload" everytime I move to another page or re-fresh.... time to dig into the cache settings I suppose. Glad it's not doing that for everyone. Thanks for the feedback.

Its coming up fine for me, though I've seen it in use on other sites where it doesn't show at all in FF and is fine in IE. (No, this countdown isn't an exclusive product, I'm a Flash whore, and you're gonna like it!)

Thanks for the kind words all, that program is really freakin sweet.

I think you need to make a whole batch of them so that when the Wisconsin game is over, I can slide the next game into place!

I think it's a great idea to have a game ticker.

My only complaints, coming merely from my highly anal tendencies when pertaining to graphic design, are:

1. Could we make the background brown to match the rest of the background? It sticks out like a sore thumb. The hex code is #210700, if you need it.

2. Could there be a little better placement? I'm thinking maybe line it up underneath the banner instead of out to the left of it.

Oh, and FYI, it's shifted down about a half inch when viewing on a Mac with IE. Looks a bit odd.

You damn design types!!! *laugh* The only problem I have with the white is that it confused my eyes into thinking I had another IM window open a couple times. I suppose I could play a bit with the background as well... Thanks for the hex code, I've been trying to figure that out forever, and when I do think I have it, it still isn't right!!!! #210700 is a new one though!

Why would you view in IE on a Mac?? Safari, Camino and FireFox are so much better.... ;-)

You want it under the banner?? I tried it under the banner and thought it looked like crap... but I'll put it there and you all can see what you think.

Grant, whatever you just did to the banner/counter....DON'T! Either side of the banner would be better.

Grant, please put it back even with the banner!!!!! There is to much blank space to the right of it if it is below. And it has everything screwed up on my screen. And, e-mail me privatly about this firefox thing. [email protected]
