MAC Players in 2006 Draft

Post by Bleeding Orange »

I'm doing this the hard way by digging through all 500 some picks so far, but here is the best list that I can compile of MAC players in the 2006 draft.

Code: Select all

Emanuel Burriss SS, Round Comp A, Pick 33 - San Francisco Giants (Kent)
Matthew Long RHP, Round 2, Pick 72 - Chicago White Sox (Miami)
Keith Weiser LHP, Round 2, Pick 78 - Colorado Rockies (Miami)
Benjamin Snyder LHP, Round 4, Pick 116 - San Francisco Giants (Ball State)
Daniel O'Brien LHP, Round 8, Pick 240 - Toronto Blue Jays (Western Michigan_
Graham Taylor LHP, Round 10, Pick 305 - Florida Marlins (Miami)
Brad Miller 1B, Round 18, Pick 537 - Arizona Diamondbacks (Ball State)
Ross Liersemann RHP, Round 18, Pick 545 - Florida Marlins (Akron)

No Falcons so far, but a pretty good showing from the MAC. Miami and Ball St. seemed to be the golden boys, and that seems to make some sense. Please feel free to add to this list as the draft moves along. Boy did that take a while!
