CMU ends BG's season...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

CMU shuts out BG, 2-0, as the Falcons bow out of the MAC Tourney.

BG finishes 33-12, the most wins ever for a BG first year coach, Shannon Salsburg. The Falcons also set a school record with 47 HR's this season. This year's senior class will walk away from BGSU as the winningest class in Falcon history. Jeanine Baca, Lauren Hoffman, Emmy Ramsey and Ashley Zirkle helped the Orange and Brown to 133 wins over the past four years.

BG just cannot beat CMU in softball as the Chips now hold an unbelievable 63-15 lead in the all time series between the schools.

Congrats Coach Salsburg and BG for a fine season.

The only real way to make the NCAAs in softball is to be ranked or win your conference tournament. It's not like basketball where everyone and their brother makes the tournament.
