....and from 1998 to 2002 won 4 out of five league or tournament championships. The incoming recruiting class has some OUTSTANDING arms in it, to go with the position players that will be sophmores and juniors, but with that being said, we really need to improve our baseball facility to "keep up with the Jones", and Miami, CMU, Kent, OU, Dayton, Cincy, Wright State, OSU and all of the rest of the schools that have new facilities in and around the MAC and Ohio..

This is too much, even from someone with a longstanding agenda to run the guy out of town. If anything, the rebuilding is coming to an end as the roster is beginning to mature and gain experience.

Danny Schmitz, counting this year, has had 9 winning seasons in the past 13 years. As far as recruiting, the possibility of coming in and having the opportunity to make contributions early on is an attractive option for many players.
Not to mention a couple MAC Tourney titles and appearances in the NCAA Tourney. Don't forget the 4 MAC East division titles.

Yes, those accolades are great, but "what have you done for me lately?" could apply. In the last 6 years a 67-75 MAC record with one tournament appearance (2 & out). Not sure what defines a mature roster, but according to the website, there are 3 Sr, 9 Jr, 8 So - not much different from previous years. I hope the incoming arms are great, as that seems to be a definite need. Does anyone know if the one recruit is going to sign after being drafted?
