This is a great read.

One of the best coaches all time at BGSU, IMO. Coach's record speaks for itself and this year the Vball team is taking the MAC Title and beyond!! :supz:

Van De Walle...

She should be lauded just as much for her amazing loyalty to BG. She's been here 25 frickin' years! Thats approaching JoPa status for us. I believe we've had no coach in any sport be here that long that I know of. Maybe..................shoosh.....keep quiet now, just maybe she'll infect Curt Miller. 8-[

Coach V is a treasure for our alma mater, not only for the incredible success she's brought to the court, but for outstanding commitment to mentoring her student-athletes to excel academically and develop into leaders as well. She is the epitome of what a coach should strive to be.

Well said, 87. I finally got a chance to meet Coach Van De Walle at the Cleveland Tour stop and she is not only a great coach and class act, but a very nice lady as well. It's easy to root for people like her to succeed.

I know of at least one coach on campus that could take a lesson or two from her. Maybe more than one, for that matter.
