He'll be playing with a very good prospect, Andrew McCutchen and what looks like to me as a converted 1B hoping that he can play OF in Steven Pierce.BBFan07 wrote:Looks like that's what they decided to do. He'll be playing on the Phoenix Desert Dogs

Reimold's limited numbers are nice from the power side, but those Ks to BB ratio is quite bad. What it means to me is that his BABIP (batting average on balls in play) is quite high which could be taken as either a good sign or a bad sign. Either he is getting lucky on some of the balls he puts into play or he makes solid contact on most balls hit. I'm hoping it's the latter. With the numbers he put up in AA this year, makes it look like Jeff Francoeur numbers.
Pierce can flat out mash. The Pirates have some 1B so they are looking to see if Pierce can hold his own at other positions. I noticed that K to BB ratio as well with Nolan. I think he will be fine. he needs the ABs.dduncan wrote:He'll be playing with a very good prospect, Andrew McCutchen and what looks like to me as a converted 1B hoping that he can play OF in Steven Pierce.BBFan07 wrote:Looks like that's what they decided to do. I think the Baltimore got a steal with Nolan.
